Pancake

Today I went to Shinjyuku and ate a pancake.

 

I ordered the sweet potato pancake.

 

Pancake was sweet and it was like a cake.

 

Sweet potato paste was rich-tasting.

 

It was delicious.

 

wake up early

I woke up early this morning.

 

When I opened the curtain,

 

the color of the sky was so beautiful :)

 

The sky of the winter is so clear,

 

so I like it.

 

 

And I ate an apple cheeze cake which I made last night.

 

It was so tasty than I had expected ;)

 

Usually I wake up late and I don't have enough time except for prepareing.

 

But today I recognized that

 

waking up early is nice and I can use time more efficient.

 

I noticed that though today is the last working day of this year...

 

I will try to wake up early from next year!

hamburg steak

I cooked the hamburg steak a few days ago.

 

 

Today I made the cream stew for dinner and baked the rest of the hamburg.

 

Then put it on the saffron rice.

 

The taste was so so.

 

I like cooking ;)

BROZERS'

Yesterday I went to the hamburger shop BROZERS' near my house.

 

I ordered the pine apple hamburger.

 

The combination of them was so nice.

 

It was so big hamburger!!

 

the leaf viewing 2

Last weekend I went to the leaf vieweing with my friends again.

 

This time we went to the Rikugien.

 

It is Japanese garden.

 

The leaf have turned red already.

 

Um..so beautiful.

 

 

When I told mom that I would go to the leaf viewing on the previous day,

 

she said that 'oh the leaf viewing... so you have to buy Momiji manju'.

 

Momiji manju is the famous sweet souvenir of Hiroshima.

 

It has the shape of the leaf.

 

I searched the store where I could get it in Tokyo,

 

and finally I could find.

 

It was sold at Mitsukoshi whish is the famous department store.

 

So I went there only to get Momiji manjyu in the rain...

 

 

When we were enjoying viewing the colorful leaves,

 

we found the street performers.

 

They were spinning the plate with their foreheads.

 

Then we continued walking...

 

Oh again Momiji manjyu...

 

I also found the green carpet.

 

So beautiful.

 

After that one another friend joined us and we had Turkish lunch.

 

It was so tasty.

The interior decorating of that restaurant was also nice.

 

It was a good holiday.

 



The autumn leaves

Today I met my friend at Shinjyuku.

 

We had lunch together.

 

I ate wheat noddle.

 

Then we went to Shinjyuku Gyoen to see the autumn leaves.

 

Flowers were also beautiful.

 

There were many kinds of chrysanthemum.

 

We found white one.

My friend said that this was like a 'Ika syuumai' which was the steamed Chinese dumpling of squid.

 

 The real Ika Shuumai is this.

 

Um...as she said,

 

they are very similar.

The leaves hasn't turned red compeletely yet.

 

But it was beautiful and walking outside was good exercise.

 

I could have myself refreshed.



This morning

Every morning

 

when I wake up,

 

I open the curtain at first.

 

But then I am still sleepy so go back to my bed and sleep more 30 minutes.

 

But this morning when I opend the curtain,

 

the color of the sky was beautiful.

 

So I opened the window and took the photo.

 

The air of the morning was cold.

 

So I wake up completely.

 

As a result I didn't go back to my bed today.

 

 

I could relax and clean my room in the morning because I had time.

Umm...

 

To wake up early is good.

dinner of Sunday

Today my friends came to my room at night.

 

So I made dinner for them.

 

I made fried rice, Tofu hamburg,

 

dumpling soup, and Tomato and avocado salad.

 

Having something with friends is always fun.

 

 

 

One friend made sweets.

 

Cookie and cake....

 

We had them as a dessert.

 

Um..yummy...

 

It was a nice Sunday dinner.

Pocky and Misshy

Tomorrow is 11/11.

 

1111 is like a pocky.

 

So it is Pocky's day!!

 

 

I made pocky.

 

They were shorter than real pocky.

 

 But taste was not bad.

 

 

Many pockies are like twigs.

 

And also my friend passed the entrance exam for university recently.

 

So I made cookie to celebrate him.

 

He likes Misshy which is the character of game.

So  I made Misshy.

 

 

 

 

This is a real Misshy.

 

Misshy is so cute.

 

 

red mustard

Today I had dinner with my friend at the Japanese style pub.

 

When we ordered the grilled chicken,

 

the mustard for it was also served.

 

It was red and the shape of it was heart.

 

So cute.

 

 

 

 

I wanted to do something to it...

 

So I changed it to the star with toothpick.

 

Also I added eyes and mouth to it.

 

Ummm...

 

It is not...cute...

Sushi clock

Today I visited my friend.

 

She have just moved to new apartment.

 

And she lives with her fiance now.

 

Their new room was so nice.

 

I found the interesting clock...it was a Sushi clock.

 

And also it had the cat ear.

 

The mysterious combination...

 

 

 

 

My friend made me so tasty dinner.

 

After having it we ate the pumpkin cheeze cake.

 

She made the persimmon milk juice.

 

It was also so healthy and delicious.

 

It was a nice Friday today.

snow ball cookie

It will be my dad's birthday soon.

 

So I made the snow ball cookie for him.

 

I will send this tomorrow.

 

I lessened the amount of suger for his health ;)

 

 

shape of a star!!!

The 'Pure gummi' is my favorite gummi candy.

 

Especially I like the lemon flavor.

 

So I often buy it.

 

 

Today when I was eating it,

 

I found one gummi which shape was star!!

 

Normally it's shape is a heart.

 

So the shape of a star is rare and it was my first time.

 

I was so happy and I took the photo of it as my memory....

 

Shinjyuku and Tokyo station

Today I went to Shinjyuku with my friend.

 

When we were walking,

 

I found Ganesha which was made of balloon.

 

 

When I am walking anytime and anywhere in Tokyo,

 

I can find anything interesting every time.

 

It is one of my favorite elements of Tokyo.

 

 

 

Then we ate noodle for lunch near Shinjyuku station.

 

It was tasty.

 

 

 

After eating lunch and looking around any shops,

 

we still had time so went to the Tokyo Metropolitan Government Building.

 

If it was good weather,

 

we could see Mt. Fuji.

 

It was sunny today so we expected it,

 

but we couldn't... 

 

I just imagined the shape of the mountain...

 

ummmm..

 

I will come again someday.

 

 

 

Tokyo has many tall buildings.

 

Buidlings turned orange because of the sunset.

 

The contrast of orange and blue was beautiful.

 

 

 

Then we went to Tokyo station.

 

New Tokyo station was opened from this month.

 

It is the rebuilding of about 100 years ago.

 

 

 

 

The rebuilt building on the left side,

 

and the modern buildings on the right side.

 

Though both were so beautiful,

 

but the sky color behind me was also so amazing.

 

Today we walked a lot.

 

I will go to bed soon...

from China

Now my friend who works in China has come back to Japan,

 

so yesterday any friends gathered to meet him.

 

We had nabe (Japanese style hot pot dish) for lunch at Ikebukuro.

 

One pot for each person,

 

so there was a line of 5 pots.

 

 

 

 He bought us Chinese candy.

 

I have had this many times and I like this so much!

 

Wa~~~~i!

 

 

After having lunch,

 

we looked around the town.

 

 

Then we found that the pattern of the cloud was strange.

 

It was the stripe pattern.

 

 

the sudden rain

Last night I had dinner with my friend.

 

But when finished dinner and left the restaurant,

 

it was rainning cats and dogs!

 

So we moved to the ice cream shop and ate one as a dessert.

 

Many people were there to avoid the rain.

 

After eating and resting,

 

we could went back home.

 

As I ate a lot last night,

 

even today I am full...

 

 

 



footprint of the summer

Yesterday when I was walking,

 

I found beautiful green leaf.

 

But when I saw it from closer distance,

 

I found that it was the insect.

 

A insect is the symbol of the summer to me.

 

But it is getting cold these days and it is almost fall.

 

When I found this green instect,

 

I recognized that the summer hasn't gone yet completely.

I bought two cute magnets in the Czeceh when I traveled there last month.

 

I liked them as soon as I found them and got soon.

 

But when I showed them to my mom,

 

she said that they were so ugly and no one wanted to buy them. 

 

Really?

 

I think these two funny magnets are so nice.
